Love your town!

I've just been out with my Church having conversations with shoppers and praying with people.  This was the third morning I've been out with them- it's my little bit of "mum time" with mini fairy is out at her Saturday theatre school.  The first time I did it was rather scary, but I'd felt really challenged by God to step out and do it.

I really believe that God doesn't ask us to do stuff then fail to equip us.  So I've asked God to do just that; the truly amazing thing is that he has (& does!) given me not just what I needed to get by but an overflowing of what I need!  Love is the key to all of this.

It's easy for me to get hung up on "what if I don't have the right words... What if I mess it up Lord?" But God recently has been lovingly reminding me that he is enough, he is sufficient.  As we approach Easter I'm reminded that the battle is already won, death has been  dealt the final blow so I don't need to worry- but I want to take as many with me as I can.

God has blessed me with a love for my town, & for people that overcomes and covers up my fears.  Those fears that I will be laughed at or rejected are just swept aside when I'm filled with His love. On my own I'm just me, I couldn't do it but it says in Matthew 19:26...

"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

I've never felt called to another nation; I see the need in our own.  I want to see the Kingdom of God on our streets!  But I've not felt I've had the opportunity to do it- perhaps all has been a time of preparation for this?

I want to say bring it on God!

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
- Matthew 6:10
